This is because the spiders go where the bugs are. If you get rid of the bugs, then the spiders have no reason to stick around.

If you have seen one of Miami’s poisonous spiders, then you’ll want one of our Miami spider exterminators to remove the spider and look for others in the vicinity. There are two types of poisonous Miami spiders: the black widow and the brown recluse.

In most cases, the Brown Recluse that you would find in Miami, FL isn’t very large. The brown recluse is usually somewhere between half an inch and an inch in size. The brown recluse can be identified by its brown color, with a black stripe down its back. Some say this black line is in the shape of a violin, which results in the brown recluse also being nicknamed the fiddleback spider, brown fiddler, or violin spider. The brown doesn’t build the pretty webs that many other spiders do. A brown recluse web can often appear to be random threads just put together. If you see a web like this, you should call us immediately. Common areas that we’ve found Miami brown recluse spiders in are wood piles, sheds, basements, closets, and garages.
